This course is designed to follow on from the ‘Introduction to Healing’ Workshop.(See Introductory Workshops section) This course is available for distant learning but attendance at the ‘Introduction to Healing Workshop’ is compulsory. |

In order to practise as a Spiritual Healer you have to be professionally trained and accredited by a Healing Organisation such as THF. For full membership students must be aged 18 or over (students of 16 or 17 will need a parent or guardian’s written permission) and undertake a year long training programme (a minimum of 50 hours healing practice). This is an interactive course giving you plenty of opportunity to give and receive healing. On the programme students will learn about holistic healing and the essential qualities of a healer and good practice. Emphasis is placed on the practical aspects of giving healing and the healer-client relationship. This one year course is in two parts. The first three months covers all the basic healing skills including learning a healing routine and learning about the Code of Conduct. There is no commitment at this stage except for paying the weekly session fee (£3.50). Part two will require you to join the THF as a student member and purchase the THF Comprehensive Manual. You will also be required to attend an ‘Introduction to Communication Skills’ workshop & ‘A Brief Introduction to Reiki’ workshop before the end of the course (Special price of £25 per workshop).Three assignments will be set during the year to ensure that you have read and understood the THF Training Manual. At THF we believe good quality training is essential to build the Healer’s confidence in their own ability to channel the healing energy but we also recognise that people who do not have academic qualities can make very good Healers and we wouldn’t exclude anyone who may lack academic ability. A Caring, compassionate, understanding and respectful nature are the main qualities a Healer requires and these qualities are not gained by academic means. On successful completion of the course students will be required to join THF as a full Healer Member and take out insurance. |

‘Healer Refresher’ Course (CERTIFICATED) This workshop is flexible and adapted to the particular needs of the participants. |

This workshop is for Healers who may have begun their training a number of years ago and wish to update and refresh their skills and knowledge or for those who have let their Healing Membership lapse (with any Healing Organisation) and wish to return to Healing. This workshop is also suitable for those trained in Reiki to mastery level who would like to become mainstream Healers with an Accredited Organisation such as THF.

‘Train the Healer
Trainer’ Course

This course is designed to teach Healers with at least 3 years proved Healing experience how to conduct the full THF Healer Training programme and so train Student Healers using a professionally run Healing Course. The course includes how to structure student’s training, The role of the trainer, Supervision, record keeping and assessments, practical sessions on teaching styles and problem solving. Healer trainers will be invited along to follow-up sessions both to keep up to date and share experiences. |
