‘An Introduction to
Communication
Skills’ Workshop

This workshops forms part of our One Year Healer Training Course but can also be run as a stand-alone Workshop.
One Day
This workshop teaches basic skills in knowing how to listen and respond to people and how to establish rapport with a client. There are many other areas where good communication skills apply, including maintaining a professional distance and understanding personal boundaries and how to deal tactfully with delicate situations which are included in this workshop.
Workshop Content:
Self Awareness and knowing your personal story, Communication skills (explore, understand and action), About listening, Communicating with clients – do’s and don’ts, Body language, Looking after yourself, Keeping records, Mind healing (guilt and fear, beliefs and perceptions), Cleansing the aura and protection.

‘A Brief
Introduction to
Reiki’ Workshop
(CERTIFICATED)
This workshops forms part of our One Year Healer Training Course
but can also be run as a stand-alone
Workshop.
One Day
In order to address some of the confusion in people’s minds about the difference between Healing and Reiki, this workshop examines the history, some of the basic principles and practices of Reiki and enables participants to compare and contrast the two approaches. This interactive workshop will also provide the opportunity to give and receive healing using the Reiki hand positions.
Workshop Content:
The Reiki System of Natural Healing, A brief history of Reiki, Tibetan Usui Ryoho and some additional Reiki healing traditions, Reiki Attunements, The Reiki Degrees and Symbols, Reiki classes, What is a Reiki Master. Certification and ‘Lineage’, Comparisons between Reiki and mainstream Spiritual or Natural Healing, becoming a Reiki Healer and charge structure, Some concerns about modern Reiki as a healing system.
